Who am I?
My name is Jan Grabowski. I am a third year student at Huddersfield University. I am a young web developer and very keen to develop my skills in different areas of web development.
I am currently on a placement year at All Saints Catholic College in Huddersfield. My position within the school is to maintain and develop the VLE and school management system.
When I arrived at the school the website was out dated and old fashioned. I was given the opportunity to develop and revamp the whole website; I have implemented many changes to bring the web site into the 21st century.
I specialise in PHP programming and MySQL
data bases and making dynamic web pages that can store information and pull it out in a useful fashion. I greatest wish is to enhance and develop my skills and I truly believe the best way to do this is to create as many different types of websites as possible.
I also have a great passion for photography; this grew when I studied visual design at University, I have put some examples of my work on janmedia.
This is a photo of me in Dunkirk on the last night when I went on a road trip around Europe with my friends in an RV we kept a website tracking all of our trip called DRVE.
We went to Belgium to see the Grand Prix at the best track in the world SPA in 2009 (and yes Hamiltion and Button did crash on the first corner).
